Tottenham never held talks with Nike over sponsoring their new stadium, despite leaks claiming the sportswear giant had won the naming rights for the 1billion arena.Earlier this month reports suggested the still unopened ground would be called the ‘Nike Stadium’, though this leak was quickly denied by the north London club.

Levy’s denial was revealed in the minutes of the meeting, which were published on March 17.It was also confirmed by Levy that NO naming rights for the new stadium were in place as of the date of the meeting earlier this week.getty1
