Manchester City will beat Liverpool and go on to win the Premier League, former Chelsea forward Tony Cascarino has claimed.Cascarino backed Pep Guardiola’s side to retain their title at the beginning of the season, and he remains behind City despite their recent slip-ups.Two defeats in their last three league matches leave the Etihad club four points behind Liverpool, who are still unbeaten heading into the midway matches of the campaign on Boxing Day.2

“City are having a little stutter now but they have the easier of the two Champions League ties and they have experience of winning the title last season.“I just cant see Liverpool maintaining this form all season. I said City for the title at the start of the season and Ill stick with that.”
